Former Pramac d'Antin rider Alex Hofmann has undergone successful surgery to remove a plate and 15 screws from his left hand he injured eight months ago at the Laguna Seca Grand Prix. Hofmann suffered grotesque hand injuries when Sylvain Guintoli crashed into the side of him at the top of Laguna Seca's famous Corkscrew in the first free practice session that weekend. read more
