250cc rider Mattia Pasini will be back on the Ducati in Italy ahead of next month's Portuguese Grand Prix, the race which marks the MotoGP return of 2007 Champion Casey Stoner after missing three events due to illness.
Pasini will ride the Desmosedici GP9 at Mugello for a three-day test between Tuesday and Thursday of this week. He will be joined by regular test rider Vittoriano Guareschi and under the supervision of Ducati General Manager Filippo Preziosi.
The occasion will mark the second Ducati 800cc test for Pasini, who first rode the bike in the Czech Republic's post-race test session on Monday August 17.
Ducati has already confirmed its line-up for 2010, as Stoner and previous Champion Nicky Hayden partner each other for a second successive season.
