Scot Racing using Acerbix X-Seat

The Scot Racing team began using the Acerbis X-Seat GP product for Gabor Talmacsi and Yuki Takahashi from the San Marino Grand Prix onwards. The component, previously only seen on the road, made its MotoGP debut at Misano last weekend.

The mono-block X-Seat is manufactured by Acerbis in the Italian city of Albino and was first installed for the Team Scot satellite bikes at Misano.

The part is the latest piece developed by the company, which holds over three decades' worth of experience with off-road bikes. Traditional bike seats are constructed by assembling several different parts although the new model differs in that it is made from a single element.
