The Repsol Honda bike of Andrea Dovizioso will be equipped with new a new Ohlins suspension unit ahead of the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano this weekend. Although team-mate Dani Pedrosa will not make the switch, the Donington winner has elected to after recently testing the part.
Having changed and tested the new suspension in Brno's post-race Monday test, Honda made the decision to run Dovizioso with new version at Misano after results made for positive reading.
With the Italian running the most updated suspension component on the RC212V, Spanish team-mate Pedrosa will continue to make use of the original Showa part as his success this year has yielded less testing time.
