Following his testing accident in Qatar on Monday, Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa has undergone tests and scans in his hometown of Barcelona. Having initially reported pains in both his left wrist and knee, full results reveal that the Spaniard has infact fractured his left radius bone.

Team Manager, Kazuhiko Yamano, gave his opinions on the incident: "Dani's fall was really unfortunate, though looking on the positive side of things I'd rather this had happened in a test rather than a race weekend. We hope he will be fit again as soon as possible - hopefully for the Jerez test. Some of our rivals are looking fast, so we're aiming to make some significant improvements for the next test."
As the test's final six hours went on last night without Pedrosa, team-mate Andrea Dovizioso lapped the 5.4km (3.4 miles) desert circuit 74 times on his way to the eighth fastest time: "All in all I'm quite satisfied with these three days of testing because we have learned a lot. Today's session didn't go exactly according to plan because after an hour we started to get some chatter, which complicated the session and meant we had to adapt our plan for the day. There is still quite a lot of work to do but I am still pleased because we learned a lot about the bike at this test."
