Stoner storms to Spanish win

Casey Stoner strolled to an easy victory in the final race of the season at Valencia, Spain. The Australian started from pole and never looked back, taking his sixth win of the year.

Dani Pedrosa was unable to repeat his win of 2007, and instead ended up second, his eleventh podium of the year. Joining them on the podium was Valentino Rossi who finally got it together to climb through the field and finish third.

Dovizioso ended the day fourth ahead of Nicky Hayden, Colin Edwards, Nakano, Lorenzo, Capirossi and de Angelis. 

All eighteen riders completed the race.
