Edwards fastest in second practice

Tech 3 Yamaha rider Colin Edwards ended on top of the time sheets in Friday's second free practice session at Sepang. Edwards completed his fastest lap in .202.667 and was two tenths of a second ahead of fellow Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi. Casey Stoner ended third.

The second free practice session saw Shinya Nakano on top of the time sheets for most of the session but in the final minutes Edwards, Rossi and Stoner managed to complete an even faster lap than the Japanese rider.
