Stoner's strong form continues in practice

Casey Stoner's strong form winning the last two Grands Prix continued this morning at Sachsenring where he set the pace in opening practice for the German Grand Prix with a best lap of 1m22.318s.

Alex de Angelis carried his San Carlo Gresini Honda into second place, just 0.3s behind Stoner while Valentino Rossi ended the session in third.

Dani Pedrosa, the current championship leader was fourth ahead of Dovizioso and Nakano.
