Testing ends early due to thunderstorms

At the second day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya Casey Stoner completed the fastest lap of the day. The session was stopped earlier due to heavy thunder storms. In the morning Stoner completed his fastest lap time in 1.42.180. He was followed by Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden.

It was a difficult day of testing for the MotoGP riders in Spain. At Repsol Honda the team's rider Nicky Hayden tested the team's new bike with pneumatic valve engine. His team mate Dani Pedrosi travelled home after his crashed in Monday's test session.

At Rizla Suzuki Chris Vermeulen continued testing for the team with the GSV-R prototype. He set a best time of 1.42.555.
