Rossi fastest in warm-up

Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi might have had a difficult day on Saturday, searching for grip at Circuit de Catalunya. The Italian and his team seems to have found the problems on Saturday afternoon as he topped the time sheets on Sunday morning. Rossi was followed by Edwards and Stoner.

Sunday morning's warm-up session at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona was mostly a battle between Michelin riders Edwards, De Puniet and Hayden all fighting for the fastest lap. Edwards looks strong in Spain. The Tech 3 Yamaha rider topped the time sheets with just five minutes to go in the 20-minute warm-up session.

In the final minute Valentino Rossi managed to improve the fastest lap of the session. The Italian set a 1.43.182, which was just 0.066 of a second faster than his former team mate Edwards.
