Pedrosa fastest on Friday morning
06 June 2008Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa completed the fastest lap in the opening practice of the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya. The Spaniard completed his fastest lap, on his favourite track, in 1.43.691 at a damp track.
Championship leader Valentino Rossi was second fastest with his Azzuri blue Yamaha. Rossi was followed by team mate Jorge Lorenzo and Rizla Suzuki rider Chris Vermeulen.
Overnight rain offered the MotoGP riders an interesting track. The tricky conditions at the damp track made it for some difficult to stay on track. Dovizioso, Elias and De Puniet all crashed in the opening practice session at Circuit de Catalunya.
