Pedrosa fastest in both free practice sessions

In Friday's second free practice the Spanish fans could once again cheer for Dani Pedrosa. The Spaniard completed the fastest lap while preparing himself for Saturday's qualifying session at Circuit de Catalunya. Pedrosa was only just ahead of Suzuki's Capirossi and Yamaha's Rossi. Jorge Lorenzo had a high speed crash and was flown to the Barcelona hospital.

In Friday's second free Jorge Lorenzo suffered from a high speed crash again. His team is not expecting a extremely serious injury but Lorenzo was flown to the Barcelona hospital for precautious checks.

Spaniard Lorenzo wasn't the only rider flying off his bike. John Hopkins and Dani Pedrosa also fell off.
