Edwards on top in warm-up

Tech 3 Yamaha's Colin Edwards rounded off his preparations for the Alice Grand Prix de France with the fastest lap of the MotoGP warmup this morning. His lap of 1m34.143s put him ahead of Casey Stoner by just 0.013s.

Valentino Rossi was third fastest -the Fiat Yamaha rider heading row two in the afternoon race, ahead of poleman Dani Pedrosa and 2007 racewinner Chris Vermeulen.

Alice Team rider Toni Elias may have to use his second Desmosedici GP8 Sat in the Le Mans race, having seen vapour pour out of his number one machine during the warmup.
