Edwards sets morning practice pace

17 May 2008

Colin Edwards set the pace in Saturday morning practice at Le Mans. His best lap of 1m33.765s on Michelins was almost a full 0.4s faster than second placed Valentino Rossi. Dani Pedrosa, who had led for much of the session, ended up third, a further tenth behind Rossi.

Casey Stoner showed his Ducati was in with a chance this weekend going fourth ahead of Dovizioso and Vermeulen. Meanwhile further back in the field Lorenzo finished up thirteenth, but ran half as many laps as anyone else after he suffered a crash, but managed to escape any further injuries.
