Rossi extremely pleased with victory in China

Valentino Rossi has claimed his first victory of the season in the fourth round of the 2008 MotoGP championship. After a great battle with Dani Pedrosa the Italian managed to create a gap on the Spaniard and dominate the rest of the race.

After the race Rossi was obviously extremely pleased to show he is still able to win and dominate a race. Speaking after the race he said: "I'm very happy with this victory. We really needed this result.

"During the weekend I felt we were faster and we prayed for a dry track in order to get the best result for our team. The race was fantastic, a great victory for Bridgestone and Yamaha. The most important thing is that I was able to race the bike the way I wanted to race it."
