Lorenzo's surgery successful

MotoGP championship leader Jorge Lorenzo was successfully operated on Monday afternoon in Barcelona. While most riders completed a day of testing in Estoril the Spaniard was treated for his arm that plagued him in recent weeks.

Lorenzo received treatment on his right forearm, with the muscle compression inside the limb loosened to relieve the loss of strength in typical of the compartmental syndrome.

It is expected that Lorenzo will be able to compete in the Chinese Grand Prix, taking place on the fourth of May.
