Biaggi would welcome Ducati test

15 April 2008

Former MotoGP rider Max Biaggi would be interested to join the Ducati test team after team boss Livio Suppo said on Monday the team is searching for an experienced rider that could help the team with the development of Ducati's GP8 bike.

Ducati's test rider Vittoriano Guareschi is unable to join the team for any testing as he injured himself at Mugello. Ducati already admitted they would be interested to sign Biaggi as the team's new test rider. Biaggi confirmed to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport he has been in touch with team boss Suppo. "I would indeed be interested to help out the team. I already talked to Suppo about the possibilities. We now have to see what exactly we can do for each other."
