Pedrosa fastest in final session

In front of his home crowd Dani Pedrosa completed the fastest lap in Saturday morning's final free practice session. The Honda rider looks well prepared for this afternoon's qualifying session. Pedrosa was just ahead of Colin Edwards, who continued his strong performance, and Nicky Hayden.

The Grand Prix weekend in Jerez continued in perfect weather conditions. Most riders managed to improve their fastest lap set in Friday's free practice sessions. Jorge Lorenzo completed 26 laps this morning, setting a fifth fastest time on the clocks.

Team Alice rider Sylvain Guintoli is unable to impressive at Jerez. The Frenchman completed 22 laps but was the slowest rider on track this morning.
