Capirossi still confident despite difficult debut with Suzuki

Loris Capirossi finished the opening race in Qatar in eighth position. The Italian would have hoped for a better start of the season but still has faith his the Rizla Suzuki project.

"It was a difficult race. We had a lot of problems, particularly with the qualifying tyres during the weekend. I started from thirteenth and just had to do my best," Capirossi was quoted by Motogp.com.

"It wasn't the best result for us, but we did find some good points. We want to be fighting for the top positions and I have the faith in this project. We have tried a lot of things, but haven't found the right set-up at the moment. The season is just beginning though."
