Dovizioso confident about his MotoGP debut

JiR Team Scot rider Andrea Dovizioso is looking forward to his very first race at the highest level of MotoGP racing this weekend in Qatar. The Italian young talent showed he can be well on the pace during the winter tests and he now hopes to prove his talent in the upcoming MotoGP world championship.

"If I look to the results of the winter tests I'm very confident about this weekend's race in Qatar," said Dovizioso. "I did not expect to find myself with such a good feeling with the bike and also to be able to achieve the results I have in the tests. The team works very well together and our technical package is competitive. If we need to fine-tune the aspects of the machine we have demonstrated that our capability to do so is very high.

"I think that our tests have shown our real value on track and this is why I think we can look forward this weekend to be up there battling with the top riders. I'm excited to be starting this championship and for this first race which is going to be in the dark I have to say that we are ready!"
