Lorenzo ends final day in Sepang on top
07 February 2008 / ResultsFIAT Yamaha's new rider Jorge Lorenzo topped the time sheets on the final day of testing at Sepang. The Spaniard completed his fastest lap in 2.00.705 at the end of the afternoon. He was well ahead of his team-mate Valentino Rossi and the Honda Gresini riders.
Thursday was the third and final day of testing in Malaysia for the Yamaha and Honda riders in Sepang. The Honda Gresini riders Nakano and De Angelis did not complete many laps (both less than 25) as the team worked on its 2008 bike.
MotoGP's next trip will be heading towards the Spanish circuit of Jerez for a three-day test.
