Pedrosa to miss next test session

25 January 2008

Dani Pedrosa has said at a press conference in Barcelona that he feels fine, but will have to miss the upcoming test in Australia. It is expected that the Spaniard will be out for the next six week, but recovered in time for the opening race in Qatar.

"I am very eager to recover and I have the hope of being physically fit very soon," Pedrosa told the gathered press. "The operation went very well. The state of the injury will decide when I return to riding, and we will assess from day to day whether I will be able to take part in any tests. Compared with my previous ankle injuries this is not so serious, although in that instance I had more time to recover."
