Hayden fastest in final day at Sepang

Repsol Honda rider Nicky Hayden is back on the pace again. Hayden completed the fastest lap on Thursday at Sepang in 2.00.326 and was well ahead of champion Casey Stoner and rookie rider Jorge Lorenzo.

At Sepang MotoGP testing continued for the third and final day in hot conditions. At Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo completed his laps with Yamaha's brand-new bike. His team-mate Valentino Rossi had to settle for sixth in the timesheets.

On the final day of testing there were a few crashes again. Jorge Lorenzo, Anthony West and Randy de Puniet all crashed at the Malaysian track today.
