Stoner fastest, Rossi tries Bridgestone tyres

Casey Stoner completed the fastest lap on Tuesday in the South of Spain. At Jerez the Ducati rider completed 35 laps with the all new Ducati Desmosedici GP08. Valentino Rossy completed his first day of testing on the Yamaha bike with Bridgestone tyres. The Italian finished third.

In Jerez the MotoGP teams continued their preparations for the 2008 MotoGP season. The teams will be testing from Tuesday until Thursday.

Valentino Rossi completed his first day of testing since his final race in Valencia. He had to skip the other test sessions in Valencia and Sepang as he still suffered from an injured hand.
