Rossi pressures Yamaha

Rossi pressures Yamaha

06 October 2007

Valentino Rossi has put pressure on Yamaha to improve or he will look elsewhere. Rossi has failed to win the championship the past two seasons and before that won five in a row. He believes Yamaha is mainly responsible for the lack of success.

"If we want to win the title again then we need the people in Japan to put in more effort," Rossi told Motosprint magazine. "They need to work hard. I have a contract with them for 2008 and if they show me we can still fight then we'll be fine, otherwise I'll be making a different choice."

"We need to stop suffering from the slowness of being part of a big manufacturer," he added. "We need to be more aggressive and brave in the development decisions."
