Davies to replace Hofmann
18 September 2007Chaz Davies will once again replace Alex Hofmann at the Pramac d'Antin MotoGP team. Hofmann got fired after he pulled out of the Portuguese Grand Prix on Sunday. The final four races will be driven by American rider Chaz Davies.

Chaz Davies told MCN: "Yes, it's happening. I'm trying not to put any pressure on myself, I really want to go out there and enjoy myself and learn whatever I can about the bike. It's all been a bit of a rush, and I didn't realise at first the Japanese race was the weekend straight after Portugal. I have been to the track before but it was on a 250 and it's a difficult track to know well."
