Afternoon practice cancelled due to rain
31 August 2007Extreme rainfall at the Misano circuit in northern Italy led to the afternoon's two MotoGP practice sessions being cancelled ons safety grounds. The morning's first practice took place in wet conditions, but the heavens opened at lunch time, flooding many parts of the circuit.
As a result organisers are trying to squeeze in more track time on Saturday morning with a two-hour MotoGP practice session from 9am-11am and qualifying follows at 1.50pm.
