Nakano expects exciting season to be ahead

15 August 2007

Shinya Nakano has scored 29 points so far this season. The Konica Minolta Honda rider expected to have a better first half of the season but does realise their bike is getting better and better each race. During the summer break his team worked hard on some new improvements and thus Nakano is looking forward to start using some new parts this weekend at Brno.

"Before the summer break we were making some steady improvements in a number of areas so that's a base from which we can move forward," said Nakano. "I've enjoyed some rest back home in Japan so now I'm looking forward to the next race at the Czech Republic. It's a track I enjoy very much despite my previous results there not being my best. We should also have some new parts which makes the second part of the season very exciting for us."
