Hofmann unable to continue US Grand Prix

Pramac d'Antin rider Alex Hofmann will have to miss the rest of the US Grand Prix weekend at Laguna Seca. Hofmann fell of his bike in Friday's first free practice session and injured his hand. The team announced not much later that Hofmann is unable to continue his weekend.

Hofmann touched Sylvain Guintoli when they both entered the famous Corkscrew corner. Hofman slid into the gravel and cut his left hand when he was caught underneath his bike. The session was red flagged to allow an ambulance to enter the track and help out the German.
