Elias breaks leg in Assen practice

Toni Elias has broken his leg in an accident during this morning's practice session at the Assen circuit, ahead of Saturday's Dutch Grand Prix. The Gresini Honda driver came off his bike in the very quick section approaching the final chicane.

The front end of Elias' bike stepped out of line unexpectedly and he flew off his ride. He has now been flown to hospital where he is being treated for a broken femur in his left leg. 

The team has not made any comment about a possible replacement for this weekend.
