Repsol Honda riders fastest at wet Donington

Dani Pedrosa and team-mate Nicky Hayden were the fastest riders at Donington this afternoon Pedrosa was almost half a second faster than the current world champion. Anthony West surprised a few, as he set the fifth fastest time in only his second official MotoGP session.

Many would have hoped to have a dry Grand Prix weekend here at the British Donington Park track but the clouds seem to follow the MotoGP riders to the next round. It was interesting to see though how the riders tried to complete a fast lap on the limits with their bikes. A few riders surprised the crowd.

Anthony West was over half a second faster in Friday's second free practice session than Kawasaki team-mate Randy de Puniet. Colin Edwards also did well. He ended fourth in today's practice.
