Hayden fastest on final day in Spain

Nicky Hayden was the fastest rider at Circuit de Catalunya on Tuesday. Tuesday was the final day of testing for the six riders that remained at the Spanish track for more testing.

Nicky Hayden set a fastest lap that was over half a second faster than his fastest lap on Monday's test session. Hayden was Michelin's only rider today. He was joined by Bridgestone riders Chris Vermeulen, Casey Stoner, Loris Capirossi, Shinichi Itoh and Nobuatsu Aoki.

The MotoGP riders will be back in action next Friday during the free practice sessions at the British Grand Prix.
