Stoner fastest in final wet session

In a wet practice session Casey Stoner completed the fastest lap at the Italian Mugello track Friday afternoon. Stoner showed that his bike is ready for Saturday's qualifying session.

Friday's first practice session was held at a dry track, but the riders were unlucky in the afternoon when rain came down. The track conditions were much more difficult and many riders were waiting in their pitbox before they would go out to clock a timed lap.

Valentino Rossi was one of the riders who faced a slippery track. The Yamaha rider fell of his bike but was unharmed.
