Nieto possible replacement for Jacque

Fonsi Nieto seems to have the best cards to replace Olivier Jacques's ride at Kawasaki for this weekends race at Le Mans. Another name that has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Jacques is Superbike rider Neil Hodgson who is currently without a team.

During the Chinese Grand Prix Kawasaki rider Olivier Jacques crashed hard in the free practice session. The Frenchman flew back to Europe immediately for various checkups. At the moment it is still uncertain weather or not Jacques can race but there are already two candidates eying the Kawasaki ride.

Kawasaki Superbike rider Fonsi Nieto is ready to replace Jacques. He said: "Everyone would be happy to get such an opportunity. I am really motivated but it's said that it has to happen in this kind of way as I really admire Jacques."

Nieto furthermore said: "I don't see this only as an opportunity, but as a chance to gain more experience. At this point in my career people already know the quality I have."
