Barros missed out on podium

Alex Barros showed an incredible performance at the Turkish Grand Prix on Sunday. The Brazilian only just missed out on a podium finish as he was unable to pass Capirossi in the final laps.

Looking back at Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix Barros said: "I'm very happy because this was a fantastic weekend for us. We started with some difficulties but we ended very well!"

"I made good start, which was very important for my result. It was a wonderful race for me, I struggled a bit with some of the other riders and I was close to a podium finish. I'm displeased about it, but Loris was very determined, when I overtook him, he pushed at his maximum to leave me behind him."
