Loris Capirossi, who the Jerez Grand Prix last year, has said he is disappointed with his performance at this year's Grand Prix after finishing twelfth. The veteran was starting his 250th MotoGP race from fifteenth on the grid and will be frustrated that he could not match his Ducati team-mate Casey Stoner's display, who fought hard to make it up to fifth place.
"The thing is that I don't want to blame anyone. I'm not riding as well as I usually do so I think I need to understand what's going wrong - we'll have some homework to do," Capirossi told Italia1 television.
"My riding style is quite aggressive and I'm finding it difficult to ride this bike. When we try to solve this through electronics other aspects suffer as a consequence. I'm struggling somewhat to adapt on some tracks, so when I try to extract more than what I can do I jeopardise what we can do. This could quite possibly be my problem. As for the technical side, I don't think we are doing badly at all, because we won a race and Casey today scored a great fifth place, so this means they've worked well at home, but they have to do something different for me."
