Pedrosa fastest in warm up

Dani Pedrosa was the fastest rider in this morning's warm up session. The Spaniard wil start today's Qatar Grand Prix from fifth position. Pole winner Valetino Rossi finished the warm up session in tenth, while Hopkins finished in second.

Today's MotoGP warm up session happened under hot weather conditions. In the desert of Qatar at the Losail International Circuit the 20 riders prepared themselves for this afternoon's race. John Hopkins has had a bit of a difficult weekend so far, but the Suzuki rider was back on top of the timesheets as he finished the warm up session in second.

Kenny Roberts jr. surprised a few as he finished the warm up in sixth with his KR212V. Casey Stoner, starting from second position this afternoon, finished in third.

McWilliams remained in the pitbox as he suffered from an injury. He hopes to participate in today's race though.
