Stoner fastest in final free practice

Ducati rider Casey Stoner was this morning's fastest man on track in the final free practice session ahead of today's qualifying session. Stoner was the only rider to set a time under the 1m43s. De Puniet surprised a few as the Frenchman set the second fastest time, just ahead of Hopkins, Rossi and Pedrosa.

Stoner's fastest lap was set early in the one-hour session. In already his eigtht lap the Australian clocked his fastest time at 1.42.562. He completed a total of 21 laps.
